Obviously, the first thing I like to indulge myself in is writing my own books. Why? Not surprising really. They come from my naughty
little imagination so I get to indulge in my own fantasy world, creating hot guys and even hotter scenarios to act out with them. Mmmm

Books

Strangely enough for an erotic romance writer, although I adore reading hot, erotic fiction, I also like to indulge in historical novels, especially those of one of my all-time fave authors - Bernard Cornwell. I'm currently reading his trilogy about King Alfred of Wessex, fighting off the Dane invaders around 877 AD. It's spectacular. I've read the first one and have two more yummy novels to indulge in.



Other Stuff



I wouldn't last a moment without my cup of Earl Grey tea. I like it as it's made with a blend of China teas, so it is delicate and has that wonderful aroma and taste of oil of bergamot. I drink it with a little milk but NO sugar! It's a real pick-me-up, especially when I'm working a deadline and flagging.

And where would I be without my bed? It's a cream coloured Victorian reproduction bedstead. It has twisted 'iron' railings at the head and foot with round corner 'newel' posts. It's big, with a deep, comfy mattress and I can sink into it  to dream, fantasize about my writing, read wonderful Bernard Cornwell books and drink Earl Grey tea. Perfect!

Jake has been remotely watching his PA attempt to relieve her frustrations. He calls her to his office - just a moment too soon...

Cally felt embarrassed. She knew Jake Stone could have no idea what she had been doing in the kitchen, but she couldn’t help feeling her flushed face was signalling her embarrassment like a waving flag.

‘You didn’t have to rush.’

He could obviously see how pink her cheeks were and that her breathing rate was raised and thought it was because she had been hurrying, thankfully. She would have been mortified if he’d had any inkling that he had caught her trying a bit of self-help, in his kitchen. And she’d got so damned close.

Pity she didn't spot that CCTV camera sooner...

The battle of wills continues:

 

‘I thought you were learning to obey me, I guess I was wrong.’ 

If he thought she was going to beg him for mercy, he was wrong: she stared back defiantly.

Today's titillation, is a short teaser of my recent release:

In this scene, to enforce her submission, Cally's Boss (and master) demands she sit on his desk, between his open legs and eat salad with her fingers.

Cally plays with fire, tormenting the virile Jake by licking the dressing off suggestively. It arouses them both. It scares her.

Review: RomanceBookJunkies August 8th, 2012

I have just read a review of my erotic romance novel -

PA Exposé - posted on romance book junkies today.

My overall impression is that the reviewer (the lovely AVA) enjoyed the plot a lot!

"A definite roller coaster of emotions happening throughout the book and a shocking turn around that will have you thinking “no way! Did that just really happen?” "

and the female characters especially.

"I truly adored the characters Katherine and Cally (two women after my own heart) and the way they both took charge"

I feel that she probably found some of the BDSM episodes and the UBER dominant males somewhat too shocking for her personal tastes.

Admittedly, the power dynamic involved in any BDSM relationship can be a little daunting on first viewing.

"I enjoyed all of the surprises Kristal put out there for her readers. Amazingly detailed (and hot) sex scenes"

"loads of spanking, submission, binding and blush worthy moments that are not for the faint of heart." 

Having said that, she did find the hero to be HOT and SEXY!!! That's always got to be a plus, right?

"Jake Stone …sure lives up to his name!"

"He’s without a doubt a VERY dominant (and sexy) male that keeps himself focused on the task at hand like a predator going for its prey."

It confirms my believe that powerful, punchy erotic romance is not for everyone - particularly when it contains realistic BDSM themes.

"That being said I suggest those curious about aspects of BDSM or someone in the mood for a different kind of (actual) story with anything but vanilla sex should be the ones to read it."

I Have researched the BDSM lifestyle (lots of personal blogs out there people - check them out), so much of what went on in my full-length novel is pretty normal or even, dare I say it, tame (vanilla - as BDSM practitioners like to term it)!

It might shock some people, but always remember, it is CONSENSUAL play and practiced SAFELY by genuine enthusiasts.

Cally Hammond, a journalist intern thinks she is undercover to expose dominating company executive, Jake Stone. However, her newspaper boss has duped her into undergoing training with Stone, to become sexually submissive. 

Cally is attending her first awkward interview with Stone:

Cally swallowed down the lump that was building nervously in her throat, choking off her breathing, as he towered over her. The way he said pleases left her in no doubt as to what he was alluding. Sex. Everything about Jake Stone screamed sex. Hot, hard, and his way.
