Happy Endings?
Life has many. One of mine was when I bought my first dog. Since I was tiny I'd wanted one passionately. Of course, I had to have parents that wouldn't countenence the idea for a single minute - just my luck!
So, as soon as I lived independently at twenty-one - yes, you've got it - I rushed out and bought myself one.
Did I go for a sweet, Paris Hilton pooch? Did I heck! I went and bought the biggest, 'badest' one I could get my hands on: a Dobermann.
Actually, he was a fantastic dog. He used to go jogging with me every other evening, after dark. First thing every morning before work, I cycled a couple of miles with him running along beside me. He slept on my bed too. At the start of each night, he would be curled up by my feet. By morning, I was curled up around his, whilst he got the lion's share of the bed!!! I got him as an eight week old pup and we grew up together. Great dog. Happy days.
Share your happy ending for a chance to win an ecopy of my newly released erotic romance:
PI Honeytrap. You can read an extract using one of the tabs above.
Blurb
Hayley doesn’t trust men. She thinks most of them are only good for one thing. And she gets plenty of that honey-trapping cheating husbands or satisfying her own needs with local gym owner, Reuben.
And woe-betide him if he even tries to get emotionally close to her. Because tough girl Hayley is running. From her past. From herself.
Will Reuben ever understand this girl? Will Hayley ever accept exactly who she is and what she needs from a man? Will she learn to trust again?
